PDEA Recruitment 2019: Schedule of Qualifying Exam


The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) announced the schedule of qualifying exam, dress code for applicants as well as requirements in taking the examination via PDEA Academy Recruitment facebook page:

Applicants may take the Exams at their preferred exam venue.
Applicants who missed to submit their application last deadline (April 19, 2019), will be entertained as "Walk-In Applicants" at the exam venue.

Schedule and Venue:




Dress Code:


White round-necked T-shirt, maong pants (blue jeans) and rubber shoes
(Proper haircut for male applicants; hair in pony tail for female applicants)


What to Bring:


  • Valid ID
  • Two latest passport size ID pictures (white background, with signature over printed name at the bottom part)
  • Two Mongol pencils
  • Black pen
  • Original copy of the following:


Additional Reminders:


  • Applicants must be at the testing venue before 6:00 Am.
  • Walk-in applicants will be accommodated provided they are qualified and compliant with the above mentioned requirements.
  • No fees will be collected.
  • Applicants are notified by the PDEA Academy Recruitment.
  • Age waivers are not accepted.
  • An applicant is highly discouraged from applying if he / she is NOT:
  1. of good moral background
  2. Physically fit
  3. Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines
  4. Willing to undergo rigid 6 months training

Qualifications


Here are the Minimum Qualification Standards:
  • 21 – 35 years old
  • 5’2” in height for males; 5’ in height for females
          *with NCIP-issued Height Waiver (photocopy) if under height
  • Baccalaureate degree holder
  • Eligible for Career Service Second Level Position (CS Professional / Board exam passer / qualified by CSC / under special laws)


Initial Documentary Requirements


  • Application letter addressed to the Director General of the PDEA:
        AARON N. AQUINO
        Director General, PDEA
        NIA Northside Road, National Government Center
        Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City
        (original copy)
  • Fully-accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212 Revised 2017) (original copy). It must be computerized/encoded. Cell phone number/s & e-mail address/es must be indicated in PDS. 
  • Authenticated copy of Transcript of Records and College Diploma
  • Photocopy of authenticated Certificate of Eligibility from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) or Report of Rating/Board Rating authenticated by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
  • Photocopy of Certificate of Live Birth issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
  • NCIP-issued Height Waiver (photocopy) if under height

Q: Is there a quota?
A: We do not have a set quota.


Q: Where do we send the requirements?
A: There are three (3) ways you can send in your documents:
  • Walk-in submission at any PDEA regional office near you
  • Through courier (e.g., LBC, 2Go, JRS)
  • Through e-mail


Q: Is the NAPOLCOM PNP entrance eligibility accepted?
A: Any of the following is accepted: (1) Career Service Professional Eligibility, (2) Bar/Board Eligibility, (3) and Honor Graduate Eligibility.

PNP entrance eligibility, fire officer eligibility, penology officer eligibility, barangay official eligibility, and others equivalent to a first-level eligibility are not accepted.


Q: How much is the starting salary?
A: Salary Grade 11 (P20,754, based on the final tranche of the Salary Standardization law of 2015). Currently, PDEA is working on a proposal for the increase of DEOs' salary.
