EXAM RESULTS: June 23, 2019 BCLTE, Pre-Employment and Promotional Test List of Passers


The complete list of passers for the June 23, 2019 Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE), Pre-Employment, Promotional Test released forty one (41) days after the examination through the Civil Service Commission (CSC) website (www.csc.gov.ph).

Update: List of Top Passers


The CSC administered the BCLTE, Pre-Employment and Promotional Test this year in various testing centers nationwide on June 23, 2019.

Examinees can generate their examination rating through OCSERGS or Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System which can be accessed through the CSC website. Generation of examination rating through OCSERGS shall be available starting August 18, 2019 or approximately fifteen (15) days after the posting of the List of Passers. Click How to use OCSERGS.

For BCLTE Passers


Certification of Eligibility for passers (printed on CSC letterhead, free of charge) shall be issued through the CSC Regional/Field Offices starting September 4, 2019 or approximately thirty (30) days after posting of results.

Successful examinees are strongly advised to verify first if their Certification is already available for claiming before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office to maximize time and effort. Representatives are not allowed to claim the CoE.

For Pre-employment / Promotional Test


The CSC ROs shall print and indorse the Certification (for passing the Pre-Employment Test, or the Promotional Test) to the agencies concerned by September 4, 2019. In turn, government agencies concerned shall release/distribute the certifications to their respective applicant-passers.

For EOPT


For the EOPT, an overall and individual evealuation report shall be given to agencies with examinees who took the EOPT. No individual EOPT Evaluation report shall be released to examinees.






About the BCLTE


The Local Treasurer Eligibility (LTE) is a second level eligibility appropriate for appointment only to Local Treasurer and Assistant Local Treasurer positions, and to positions under the Financial Services that do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by Bar/Board or special laws.

The institution of the LTE, the CSC said, is part of the Standardized Examination and Assessment for Local Treasury Service program of the Department of Finance, which seeks to professionalize the ranks and improve the competencies of treasurers. It is also seen to significantly improve recruitment and selection process in the local treasury service.

About the Pre-Employment Test and Promotional Test


Passers of the Pre-Employment Test and Promotional Test will receive a Certification valid and effective for five (5) years. As such, the Certification may be used by the holder for subsequent applications. The CSC explained that the Certification shall be appropriate/applicable only for the level of positions for which the examination is intended (e.g. The Pre-Employment Test for 1st level shall be applicable for entrance to first level positions only. The Promotional Test for Executive/Managerial positions shall be applicable for promotion to the same level of positions only).
