Enclosed here is the copy of Announcement on the 2018 Foreign Service Officer Exam courtesy of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
The 2018 Foreign Service Officer Exam Qualifying Test is on January 28, 2018.
Application forms shall be duly accomplished by the applicants and submitted in person from 16 October until 01 December 2017 at any Regional Consular Office or at Philippine Embassies or Consulates abroad, and not later than 08 December 2017 until 5:00 p.m. only at the Board of Foreign Service Examinations (BFSE) Secretariat, Second Floor, DFA Main Building, 2330 Roxas Blvd., Pasay City. Applications shall no longer be accepted beyond the set deadlines.

The CSC conducts the Qualifying Test, the first part of the Foreign Service Officer Examination while Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) conducts the succeeding parts which constitute Preliminary Interview, Written Test, Psychological Test, and Oral Test.

Suggestion: w/ regards to the venue of examinations. I hope that examination be held in the place where the aplicant resides or something to that effect. Just like taking civil service exams that way it will be accessible, convinient and affordable for the applicant.
That include the oral/panel interview... Nowadays we have skype or something like that if you want real time/ live.. or they can record the interview of applicants in the local and send the recording in the nat. Dfa/panel. Im sure sending a recording takes only a minute, a second if you have quality comp and strong internet connection.
