EXAM RESULTS: August 12, 2018 Civil Service Exam (CSE-PPT) List of Passers


The complete list of passers for the August 12, 2018 Career Service Examination - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional and Subprofessional level is now available. The Civil Service Commission (CSC) released the official results online sixty days (60) days after the day of examinations. The CSC administered the second batch of Civil Service Exam this year in various testing centers nationwide on August 12.

As per CSC's Examination Announcements results shall be released within sixty (60) days after the examination through the CSC website (www.csc.gov.ph).

NOTE: Announcements regarding the rescheduling of examination for examinees affected by cancellations in NCR and Rizal. *UPDATES:  Resetting of the August 12, 2018 CSE-PPT for NCR and Rizal to November 11, 2018*

Examinees can generate their examination rating through OCSERGS or Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System which can be accessed through the CSC website. Generation of examination rating through OCSERGS shall be available by October 26, 2018 or approximately fifteen (15) days  after the posting of the List of Passers. See how

Certification of Eligibility for passers (printed on CSC letterhead, free of charge) shall be issued through the CSC Regional/Field Offices by November 12, 2018 or approximately thirty (30) days after posting of results.

Successful examinees are strongly advised to verify first if their Certification is already available for claiming before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office to maximize time and effort. Representatives are not allowed to claim the CoE.

The new Professional eligibles may be appointed to both first level (clerical) and second level (technical) positions in the government, including executive/managerial positions in the second level, provided they also meet the education, experience, training, and other requirements of the positions.

On the other hand, the SubProfessional eligibles may be appointed only to first level positions in the government. Both the Professional and SubProfessional eligibilities are appropriate to positions that do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by special laws.
