The Philippine  Civil Service Commission (CSC) will be holding a Government Job Fair this September. Interested job seekers at the National Capital Region (NCR) may join the Job Fair to be held on September 26-27, 2018 at the SM City North EDSA Skydome. This will be hosted by the CSC Central Office and CSC National Capital Region. All CSC Regional Offices except ARMM and Caraga will also conduct job fairs in their respective areas of jurisdiction.

CSC holds two-day government job fair


The Civil Service Commission (CSC) invites qualified applicants to join the 2018 Government Job Fair on September 26 to 27 at the SM City North EDSA Skydome, Quezon City. The job fair is part of the activities of the 118th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary in September.

Participating agencies include Civil Service Commission National Capital Region (CSC NCR); Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); Bureau of Customs (BOC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Education (DepEd) NCR, Food and Drug Administration (FDA); Land Transportation Office (LTO); National Kidney & Transplant Institute (NKTI); Parole and Probation Administration; Philippine National Police (PNP) NCRPO; Philippine State College of Aeronautics; and Technical Education & Skills Development Authority (TESDA), among others. The list of vacancies will be posted in the CSC website at erpo.csc.gov.ph/publication/public and can be also accessed using the QR code to be provided by the CSC.

Applicants must prepare and bring the following documents: 1) fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS), which can be downloaded at https://goo.gl/zwKG8F, with recent passport-sized picture with name and signature, resume/Curriculum Vitae; 2) performance rating in the present position for one (1) year, if applicable; 3) photocopy of the Certification of Eligibility/rating/license; and 4) photocopy of Transcript of Records. Applicants must come in a casual attire. Wearing of slippers and shorts are not allowed. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.

The CSC clarifies that the application process during the job fair only covers submission of requirements and initial assessment. The next level of selection process, which includes shortlisting of qualified applicants and conducting written examinations and/or interviews, will be conducted by participating agencies after the job fair.

CSC Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala encourages applications from qualified persons with disabilities (PWD), members of indigenous communities, and those from any sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression (SOGIE).

All CSC Regional Offices except ARMM and Caraga will also conduct job fairs in their respective areas of jurisdiction.

The application steps shall be released through an advisory to be posted in the CSC website at a later date.

Assistance

Applicants with no eligibility may seek assistance with the CSC Helpdesk on how to apply for the Civil Service Examinations.

For those applicants lacking qualifications, the Public Employment and Service Office (PESO) –Quezon City will be also available for any job assistance.

Applicants may also visit the One-Stop-Shop booth to inquire or request assistance relating to transactions with SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF (Pag-IBIG), NBI, BIR, PSA, Postal, DFA, and PRC, the CSC added. ###
