QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must strictly meet the following qualification requirements:

• A Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines
• A Person of good moral character
• Must have passed the nuero-psychiatric evaluation, medical examination and drug test for the purpose of determining his/her physical and mental health
• Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning
• Must possess the appropriate civil service eligibility (any of the following: Civil Service Professional, RA 1080, Penology Officer & PD 907)
  
  
• Must not have been dishonorably disharged of dismissal for cause from previous employment
• Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude
• Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age. Provided, that a waiver for age requirement shall be automatically granted to applicants belonging to the cultural communities
• Must be at least one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62m) in height for male, and one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57m) for female: provided that a waiver for height requirement shall be granted to applicants belonging to the cultural communities
• Must weigh not more or less than five kilograms (5kgs) from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex
• Must be physically and mentally fit for rigid physical training.

• Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR)
• Photocopy of College Diploma
• Photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by PSA (formerly NSO) (Note: Bring your original Birth Certificate)
• Photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility or Board Rating & PRC ID (Civil Service Professional, RA 1080, Penology Officer & PD 907)
• Photocopies of Valid Clearances from Permanent and Residential Address  (NBI, Police, Barangay, MTC, RTC & Prosecutor's Office) (Note: Bring the original copies of your valid clearances)
• Photocopy of Valid Community Tax Certificate
• Photocopies of certificate/s Seminars/Trainings completed (if any)
• Certificate of Confirmation from NCIP
• Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (if married)
• Photocopy of Certificate of Confirmation from NCIP/NCMF (if needed)
• 4 pcs passport size picture with nametag

• Three (3) House Sketch of Permanent and Residential Address with LANDMARKS

NOTE: 

• For the Pertinent Documents, use ordinary white folder with plastic cover and tab its contents properly.
• For the Background Investigation, staple the documents and place it inside the folder of the Pertinent Documents.

NOTE: Licensed Criminologist are exempted to take the EnLEx. (Pursuant to Section 34 and 35, Article V of RA 11131 re: Privileges of Registered Criminologists.).
