The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office VI (BJMPRO-VI) is still accepting applicants for the 2022 Regular Recruitment and Attrition Quota. It was officially announced through BJMP Regional Office VI Recruitment Facebook page.

A total of 165 Jail Officer 1 positions will be hired this year and shall compose of 149 male and 16 female in the regular quota. Thirty-nine (39) positions for attrition quota composed of 35 male and 4 female.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must strictly meet the following qualification requirements:
- A Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
- A person of good moral character;
- Must have passed the neuro-psychiatric evaluation, medical examination and drug test for the purpose of determining his/her physical and mental health;
- Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
- Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE Professional, RA 1080, and Penology Officer Examination etc );
- Must not have been dishonorably discharged of dismissal for cause from previous employment;
- Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
- Must be atleast one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57 m) in height for Male and one meter and fifty-two centimeters (1.52 m) in height for Female: A waiver for height requirement shall be automatically granted to applicants belonging to the Cultural Communities;
- Must weigh not more or less than five kilograms (5kgs) from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age, and sex;
- Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age on the day of appointment (not ealier than July 1, 2022).
NOTE: Under the waiver program, a waiver for height requirement shall be automatically granted to applicants belonging to the cultural communities/ indigenous peoples (as ammended by RA 11549), and no waiver shall be granted to person who is more that 35 years of age.
